Manhole Covers ~ Yes, Really

The Japanese decorate everything, including manhole covers.
These were found in Okinawa, Kyoto and Tokyo

If You Plug It, They Will Come

There were vending machines selling anything and everything.
Drinks (hot and cold), beer, cigarettes, ramen, umbrellas, eggs, magazines, train tickets and meal tickets. You buy the tickets and bring it up to the counter to order your food.

There was a vending machine right outside the house in Okinawa
Note the walking out to get a drink in their pajamas

And in the middle of nowhere....

They Have Building Codes, Don't They?

The metropolises of Osaka and Tokyo offer some of the most interesting architectures I've seen.

A building near our hotel in Shimbashi, Tokyo

The following two buildings were in Ginza, Tokyo

No, this is not an optical illusion. It's really built wavy.

The entire front of this building in Ginza was a light show.
I'll put up a video of it in a later post.

They Have A Way With Words

GENTLFWOMEN is just around the corner

Here, let me light that with the blow torch behind me...

Especially if your cat can't swim.....

Just in case you weren't sure

Damned feminists!

Just because.....

Yes, but how much if it doesn't touch?

Sale ends today

Back away.....slowly...put down that water bottle.....

And finally:

I don't have a photo of one of the best ones I've seen. At a fast food place:

Happy Meal - Hotdog, Beer and Snack

"Give Daddy your drink, sweetheart."
